How They Met
Some call it a happy coincidence, and some call it fate—either way, these two were meant to be! Lindsay and Tom met while working at the Charlotte Knights stadium. He’s in operations at Truist Field Baseball Stadium, and she was working with the video productions team. They became friends and hit it off right before she landed a gig at NASCAR, and they’ve been inseparable ever since!
The Proposal
Their engagement story is something from a romantic movie. They booked a beach vacation to get away for a while and recharge. One evening, they went to the pier to watch the waves roll in. Lindsay turned around to reach for Tom’s hand so they could watch the sunset together. But when she looked back, he was down on one knee with a sparkling ring in his hands! She gave him the answer he was hoping to hear and enjoyed the rest of their vacation taking it all in and making plans for their future.
Lindsay and Tom are both very fun and personable, yet very complementary, too. He’s the strong and silent type, which makes it even funnier when he cracks a joke or breaks out one of his signature facial expressions. Lindsay is the social butterfly with an incredibly kind heart. Together, they’re adventurous, playful, and refreshing to be around. It wasn’t hard to get great shots of this fun-loving and ridiculously photogenic couple.
Fall Engagement Photos at ASC Greenway in Fort Mill
After convincing Tom that he truly didn’t have to stand and pose for the photos, they were down for anything during their session. The warm shades of fall covered the park, and the trees had already shed most of their leaves. There was a slight chill in the air, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect. (Can you tell I’m longing for fall to arrive?)
I love taking couples to ASC Greenway for their fall engagement photos because it has lots of room to explore for added privacy, and the colors are always stunning in autumn. If you want that cozy fall vibe, this is the perfect spot. Plus, the renovated white dairy barn offers a beautiful architectural backdrop we can use. Throughout their session, Lindsay and Tom had fun relaxing on the lawn with a cozy blanket, flirting in the field, and simply savoring every moment as they get closer to their wedding day.
