Chelsea and Bobby booked an ACE Weddings + Events Micro Wedding Package, and I’m so excited for their wedding coming up here in a couple months. The package comes with wedding photography, and they added this engagement session to document the entire journey from engagement to newlywed sendoff for a complete collection of photos.
I’m so glad they did! We got to know each other a little better before their big day, and we had a great time together. Engagement photos are often the first professional photos couples have together, so it’s natural to be a little camera shy. These two didn’t mind at all! They embraced the learning curve, went along with my guidance, and just had fun being themselves and exploring the park. Their authentic laughter and smiles made my job easy! I can’t wait to shoot their wedding in a few weeks.
Engagement Photos at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte
We opted to do their session at Marshall Park in Uptown Charlotte. There’s a super cute, modern church nearby with tall white walls and massive windows. I like to find buildings with interesting architecture to add variety to the photos. Marshall Park is just around the corner, and it has incredible views and an uptown vibe, but it’s less crowded and offers a more intimate atmosphere.
We were the only ones out on the lawn, and the crepe myrtles were in full bloom! After a few dances and twirls around the fountain and a champagne toast, they ended the session with romantic sunset photos. Chelsea and Bobby’s session was fun and flirty all the way, and I’m in love with how their photos came out. Cheers, you two! See you soon!
