The phrase, “Timing is everything,” couldn’t be more fitting for Regan and Jake’s love story. They dated in high school, but as we all know, there’s still so much to learn about life during those years. However, if it’s meant to be, it will back around in due time. Sure enough, Regan and Jake found each other again several years later. And this time, they wouldn’t let go. They promised forever at Morning Glory Farm in Monroe, North Carolina.
It’s not surprising how these two ended up together. You can almost see the sparks between them—their sweet and romantic chemistry like something from a movie. Jake is a more reserved “man’s man” and the kindest guy you’ll ever meet. He would do anything for his friends and family, especially Regan. And Regan is outgoing and sweet. She’s got that warm personality that makes you feel like you’ve been friends forever, even if you’ve just met. You’d be hard-pressed to find a more adored and complementary couple. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, and it was truly a joy to capture their big day.
Outdoor Weddings at Morning Glory Farm
Regan and Jake wanted something that authentically reflected their personality as a couple when selecting their wedding venue. They’re both adventure-seeking outdoor enthusiasts, so this breathtaking farm with a glistening pond provided the ideal backdrop for their dream wedding. Morning Glory Farm in Monroe, North Carolina is one of my favorite farm venues in the area. Although it has plenty of rustic charm, it also feels more refined and upscale than most. The flowering rose bushes, lush greenery, and twinkling lights make it a dream location for hosting a wedding. No matter where you stand on the property, you can guarantee you’ll have a scenic backdrop.
Upon arriving, you get full views of the picturesque property. The drive leads up to the charming bridal suite. I don’t typically talk too much about the bridal suite, but this one is worth mentioning! It’s large enough for the bridal party to spread out and feel comfortable. And from a photographer’s perspective, it has gorgeous natural lighting. The light-colored walls provide a bright, fresh blank canvas. It doesn’t look cluttered, and it makes everyone in the bridal party extra photogenic for sweet “getting ready” photos you want to share and cherish forever. Dreamy Wedding Venues in North Carolina
The large pond backed by huge mature trees is the crowning glory of this venue. In turn, Morning Glory Farm has a shaded space with an aisle and wedding arch all ready for an outdoor ceremony if you wish. Or, you can opt for an intimate setting in an alcove surrounded by trees and greenery. There’s so much space and so many options to choose from, depending on your wedding vision. Afterward, the venue offers a huge outdoor patio with a natural stone fireplace and cedar beams for a possible reception setup. Or you can choose to have your reception in the garden underneath the stars!
I couldn’t wait to showcase Regan and Jake’s perfect wedding day at Morning Glory Farm. This is as perfect as they come. Even Mother Nature decided to show off by giving them beautiful weather. Cheers to the happy couple!
