Tell me more about Biltmore Estate history!
George Vanderbilt slowly completed his vision for a self-sustaining and expansive 250-room château in 1895, just before he married his lovely bride Edith in 1898. Today, Vanderbilt’s great-grandson Cecil carries on their legacy by embracing their passions for education, creativity, family, and home. It’s still family owned, and they graciously open their doors so that many can enjoy the Biltmore experience. Learn more about the Biltmore Estate history here.
